Health Resources

A very important part of Jesus’ ministry was healing. Jesus knew that without healing, physically as well as spiritually, we could not adequately love and serve God. With this in mind, the Health Resources Committee created this Health Resources Web Page as a resource of information for better health and a longer life.

When we have a serious illness, we want the best state-of-the-art treatment that will give us the most chance of survival. How do we find it, if we do not live near a leading medical center? This Health Resource Web Page provides research and knowledge about our illness that helps us ask intelligent questions and make the best decisions with our doctor for our treatment. With medical research advancing so fast, and doctors having a difficult time keeping up in their fields of medicine, learning as much as we can about our illness and working together with our doctor to find our best available treatment, gives us the best advantage.

Many of Jesus’ healings were called miracles. When the spirit is broken, healing does not take place. Hopefully our spirits will also be enlightened and lifted from our brokenness through the knowledge provided by this web page. Healing can then begin with the confidence of having the best available treatment, with faith, and with the support and prayers of family and friends. When this happens, who knows what miracles will take place!
